“You'll love the family hospitality”
Giuseppe and his family greeted us when we arrived, offered us espresso
and snacks, and then took us to our rooms at the edge of his olive
orchard. Their generosity and hospitality made our time in Piazza
Armerina very enjoyable and memorable. Giuseppe led us twice to our
restaurant destinations which saved us plenty of time; we couldn't thank
him enough. Generous breakfast and a chance to meet other people
travelling through the area - always interesting. The family joins you for
breakfast so there's time to find out more, meet some local people and
enjoy the family atmosphere. You can buy their own olive oil, too.
Unfortunately, they had run out of the travel ready bottles but we did get
a chance to taste their delicious oil at breakfast. If they follow
through with their idea to offer dinner in the future, you wouldn't have
to leave this lovely spot in the evening. Rooms are simply furnished and
clean; the breakfast area is large and bright and a welcome start to the
day.
